| Travel Notes ATC Series #4
All the stamps were straight onto the card, with the colour added later - you can see how the distress ink colour is transparent. The walnut stain outlines were allowed to dry thoroughly before the colour washes were added.

Looks 3-D? It's not - all achieved by careful painting of shadows by picking up the walnut stain colour direct from the pad with a waterbrush pen. The colour layers beautifully, just as a shadow would. For the compass, stamp the outline first and allow to dry - then paint in the colour and the walnut stain outline shouldn't run.

| Travel Tag Card Series #3
Again on this card, the background images are stamped in walnut stain and the watercolour technique used to colour them. The centre of the tag is cut out with a craft knife and acetate stuck behind. Notice that the purple arrow is reproduced on the inside of the card as the foam mounts would otherwise be visible.

| Travel Tag Card Series #1
Using a basic craft colour tag card and envelope, I have decorated using stamps from the Travel Notes and Travel Words clear stamps from Stampendous. Main tag is stamped in walnut stain distress ink, and the colour pulled out from the lines with a water brush for the watercolour effect. Further colour can be picked up from the ink pad itself using the brush. Similarly, other items are stamped onto coloured Bazzil and stuck on.

Use Denim alcohol ink to dab on colour, and then lift the colour off again by dabbing raised section with oil-based black ink pad (e.g. Memories pad) and wiping clean. Versamark resist and Faded Jeans distress ink pad on glossy paper for the backing.
